Stable for Your Strength

An ultra-strong Hyperlift plate under your heel (where you need it most) optimises stability for heavy lifts—like squats, dead lifts and cleans—without compromising the ride. A wider toe box compared with the Metcon 9 lets your toes extend outwards and helps you optimise your power through your whole foot.

More Mobility

We updated the midsole with lightweight ReactX foam to increase energy return. It is combined with flex grooves on the outsole to give you flexible, responsive cushioning when doing high-intensity exercises like Box Jumps and quick sprints.

Grip and Grit

A tough, sticky texture strategically placed on the midfoot and toe—high wear-and-tear areas—delivers game-changing grip and durability. A new traction pattern provides a flat, sticky surface for lifting on even the sweatiest of surfaces.

Lock in

The midfoot band helps secure your foot onto the footbed when you pull on the laces. Combined with a sturdy heel cup and lace tuck, it allows you to focus on your form and not shifting or slipping.

Features
  • Smarter grip: Athletes reported rarely doing rope climbs as part of their workouts, so the rubber wrap feature was redesigned and pared back to be effective but not excessive.
  • Lockdown fit: The Metcon 10 features a new lace-lock system to keep laces secure and out of the way during high-intensity workouts. "During movements like box jumps and double-unders, the laces often shake up and down, and we've heard from athletes that it could be annoying", Gleason says of the inspiration behind this feature.
  • ReactX foam midsoles: ReactX foam provides athletes with higher energy return – or how much the shoe springs back upon landing – compared to previous Metcon shoes, which did not use ReactX foam. The ReactX foam also enhances cushioning and agility for movements like double-unders and sprints.
